Dancing with forks and knives!

Some dancing forks and knives for an anthropomorphic character assignment! 

They're supposed to be for a children's 2D animated series so its pretty simple stuff and will be part of a larger assignment later on.

Pens and Pixels Art Contest

An illustration I made for the Pens and Pixels fantasy/sci-fi art contest. Tried my hand at a comic book style which I am really into at the moment. This one is called "Only One Way Out".

Studying Character Emotion in Faces

Recently I read a graphic novel called Black Science and it was full of 

beautifully illustrated art by Matteo Scalera. It inspired me to look

into his character's faces and emotions because Matteo simplifies them in

a way that they are incredibly dramatic but are made up of only

basic and exaggerated shapes! Putting the "real" in unreal.

Definitely more to come!

Alvin Lee Street Fight Cell Shading

Finished up cell shading artwork by Alvin Lee! I tried to give them the more traditional Street Fighter colours and I'm pretty happy with the results - it was fun to do!
